Last Report Achievement Guide: How to Unlock All Achievements

Welcome to the complete guide for unlocking every achievement in Last Report. Whether you’re hunting for that final secret or aiming for 100% completion, this step-by-step walkthrough will provide all the solutions you need.

Unmissable & Story-Related Achievements

You will earn these four achievements simply by playing through the main story of the game.

First Time?

Submit your first report.

This achievement is self-explanatory and will be the first one you unlock as you begin your work.

Something’s Not Right

Last Report achievement: Something's Not Right - Uncovering the report of a deceased person (report #22).

Uncover the report involving a dead person.

This is an unavoidable story-based achievement. It will unlock after you process the first report that features a deceased individual (report #22).

The Final Report Has Been Submitted

Last Report achievement: The Final Report Has Been Submitted - Game completion screen in Last Report.

Complete the game.

Simply play the game to its conclusion to unlock this achievement.

Codebreaker

Last Report achievement: Codebreaker - The unlocked "case 1998" folder after entering the correct code.

Successfully bypass encryption and open the secured special folder.

While this is part of the main progression, the steps to unlock it are specific. You must find the code pieces in-game for it to work; entering the code early will not grant the achievement.

  1. Find the First Two Digits (53__): During the sunny, colored flashback with Caroline, interact with the tree statuette on your desk. The first two digits of the code are on the bottom.
  2. Find the Last Two Digits (__11): The last two digits are hidden on the 49th report (the one with a photo taped to it). You must shake the report to reveal the numbers. Do not upload the report before revealing the code.
  3. Unlock the Folder: Once you have both pieces, access the computer and navigate to the case-_1998 folder. Inside, open the case 1998 folder and enter the full code: 5311.

Secret & Missable Achievements

These achievements require specific actions that can be missed during a normal playthrough.

Not Enough Fuel

Last Report achievement: Not Enough Fuel - Empty coffee mug after four interactions.

Coffee’s gone. Productivity followed.

On your desk, you will find a mug of coffee from John. To get this achievement, simply interact with the mug four times until it is empty.

Shouldn’t You Be Working?

Last Report achievement: Shouldn't You Be Working? - Scoring 25 points in the computer minigame.

Score at least 25 points in the computer minigame.

First, you must unlock a hidden minigame on the computer.

  1. Access the computer and open the folder named keepthat.
  2. Enter the code 8231. (This code can be found on the last page of the in-game guidebook).
  3. Play the minigame that appears and score at least 25 points.

Clean Hands, Dirty Work

Last Report achievement: Clean Hands, Dirty Work - Shredding a bloody report.

Destroy 5 special bloody reports using the shredder.

Throughout the game, you will receive reports that are stained with blood. Instead of processing them normally, take 5 of these bloody reports and use the shredder to destroy them.

Time Traveler

Last Report achievement: Time Traveler - The in-game clock found and used in Last Report.

Find and use the clock.

This achievement can only be unlocked after you have completed the Codebreaker achievement.

  1. After unlocking the case 1998 folder, open the file inside named clock_info.
  2. A new file, clock_location.txt, will appear in the same folder. Open it.
  3. You will be prompted to leave the computer to look for the clock. Choose “Yes”.
  4. Use the clock immediately to unlock the achievement.

NOTE: This is time-sensitive. You can be locked out of finding the clock if you progress too far in the game. It is best to do this as soon as you unlock the case 1998 folder.

Perfection, aren’t you?

Last Report achievement: Perfection, aren't you? - Notification for maintaining 100% report accuracy.

Keep a 100% report accuracy after which you receive your hard earned reward~

This is the most challenging achievement. You must maintain a 100% accuracy rating throughout the entire game.

Tips for 100% Accuracy:

  • Check Dates: Any report dated before January 10th is automatically considered OUTDATED.
  • Match Sectors: If the sector name listed on the report does not match the sector name mentioned in the report’s description, flag it as “Image doesn’t match description”.
  • Handle Bloody Reports: The safest way to handle a bloody report without ruining your accuracy is to shred it or to flag it as “None of the above”.
  • Beware of Misleading Info: The developer has stated that some descriptions are intentionally misleading. Always double-check every detail.
