All Weapons & Perks in GUNTOUCHABLES
This guide provides a detailed overview of all available weapons in GUNTOUCHABLES, including acquisition methods, modifications, milestone upgrades, and meta strategies for both weapons and character builds.
Where to get Weapons
In GUNTOUCHABLES, the majority of weapons are purchased directly in-game. However, a few notable exceptions—such as the Flare Gun and the RPG—can only be obtained by completing specific achievements (tests).
Recommended Early Weapons:
- Quicksilver – Highly effective from the start. When upgraded to 0.0 reload time, Quicksilver achieves an extremely high fire rate, functioning almost like a minigun.
- Sawed-Off Shotgun – Another strong early-game choice, offering powerful close-range damage.
Weapon Costs: Prices generally range between 600 and 1800 credits.

To gain elemental advantages, players can either purchase an elemental weapon directly or equip elemental ammunition compatible with their gun.
Weapon Modifications
Weapon modifications are straightforward in GUNTOUCHABLES.
- Red Chests – Drop weapon modifications.
- Store – Offers purchasable mods.
- Yellow Chests – Provide character skills, not weapon mods.
Most modifications apply to multiple weapons, but three are weapon-specific:
- Accuracy – Useful for all weapons except shotguns, sniper rifles, and explosives.
- Spread – Effective only for shotguns.
- Blast Radius – Increases explosive damage for rocket launchers, grenade launchers, and auto launchers. (Note: The Flare Gun is categorized as a pistol, not an explosive.)

Milestone Mods
Milestone mods become available after leveling a weapon through 2–4 standard upgrades. At each milestone, the player chooses between two upgrade options.
- Most milestone mods are purchased, though some are available by default.
- Ricochet – Despite its legendary status, this mod does not increase firing distance and has limited practical value.
- Shrapnel – Extremely powerful; when an enemy is killed with one shot, nearby enemies take 50–100% additional damage. Particularly effective against Ticks. Since version 1.02, Shrapnel is classified as a legendary mod.
- Spray and Pray (SMG-specific) – A rare modifier that can be difficult to obtain.

All Perks
Each armor perk in GUNTOUCHABLES is listed separately because armor values stack additively rather than improving the percentage absorbed.
- Armor Stacking – Every level adds a flat armor value instead of increasing absorption efficiency.
- Replenishment – If you already have armor equipped, additional armor perks will replenish your existing armor rather than replacing it.

Missing Perks and Achievement Unlocks
Some perks are not available through regular progression and must be unlocked:
- Ice Upgrade Achievement – Unlocks the missing elemental perks.
- Important Bug Notice – If you purchase the final elemental upgrade directly from the in-game store, the game will not award an achievement (in-game or on Steam). Developers are aware of this issue, so it is best to avoid completing the set this way.
How to get Elemental Upgrades
Fire Upgrade:
- The easiest way to obtain the Fire Upgrade is by completing the Flare Gun test.
General Tips for Farming Elemental Upgrades
- Best Characters:
- Doctor or Shooter (at maximum level) offer the highest chances of obtaining elemental upgrades.
- Linda slightly reduces upgrade chances.
- Commando significantly lowers upgrade chances due to the large number of possible upgrades.
- Chest Management:
- Remove single-level upgrades from the pool by using them, as loot from chests cannot be rerolled.
- Store Optimization:
- At the start, ensure the store appears immediately after a mission.
- Sell your first 2–3 chests to guarantee enough credits to purchase a weapon if available.
- If a weapon is not available, prioritize upgrading your current weapon and obtaining elemental bullets.
- Containers:
- Open every container and attempt to upgrade them to Gold quality.
- Aim to complete missions with 4+ duration for better rewards.
- Always invest in 5-choice upgrades per mission to maximize chances.
Final Note: Success still depends partly on luck, so persistence is key.
Meta Weapons and Builds
Certain weapons stand out as highly effective for general play and speedrunning:
Top-Tier Weapons
- Quicksilver – Reduce reload time to 0 and increase damage to simulate a minigun. Fire rate depends on click speed.
- Sawed–Off Shotgun – Best when equipped with Electric Bullets. Recommended stats: reload under 1 second, 3 rounds per magazine, with upgrades focused on damage, ammunition capacity, and elemental bullets (Sharp or Electric preferred).
- Freedom (Pistol) – Lightweight, inexpensive, and highly efficient for speedrunning with Linda. Works best with Frost Bullets.
- Auto Launcher – Strong base weapon, especially when upgraded for damage and reload speed.
- Thundershot (Pistol) – High damage output; best with increased reload speed, ammo capacity, and larger magazines.
Skills and Character Builds
General Skills:
- HP Upgrades – Always valuable, especially for solo play.
- Speed + Stamina Regeneration – Crucial for speedrunners.
- Healthy Heart – Provides sustained survivability.
- Adrenaline Rush – Particularly effective with Linda’s RMB ability.
- +1 HP on Hit – Extends survivability significantly.
- Armor and Desperate Strength – Strong complementary skills.
Character-Specific Builds
Commando:
- Best with double pistols, double shotguns, or a Quicksilver + Sniper Rifle combo.
- Upgrades:
- Extra damage when picking up ammo
- Additional ammo with dual weapons
- Increased grenade radius and faster fire rate
- Tip: Grenades can be thrown farther by holding RMB.
Linda:
- Best paired with stamina boosts and +1 HP on hit.
- Playstyle focuses on sustained melee via RMB attacks while kiting enemies.
- Prioritize killing Spitters and Speedrunners, as both can cause significant disruption.
