Combat-related content and features like stamina, weapon stats, enemy behavior, parrying, attack types, stagger mechanics, and more.
Stamina
If the stamina is depleted you won’t be able to attack, kick and sprint but you may still throw the weapon you’re holding, block an attack and pick up objects around you.

Successfully blocking an attack restores your stamina fully and instantly.
Weapon Swing Pattern
Weapons have a swing pattern that alternates from left to right. Although it’s quite tight you may:
- Shorten the Swing: Look against the direction of the swing to narrow the vertical arc.
- Extend the Swing: Move along with the motion to increase the arc and hit multiple opponents around you.

Notice how the left swing crosses above the reticle and the right swing slightly below it. Keeping this in mind allows you to set up precise attacks.
Player Weapon Statistics
During my time playing the demo, I devised a statistics table of the usable weapons.
Since the release, throwing no longer affects the condition of the weapons, so changes are needed but the proportions should be similar.

Enemy Attacks and Behavior
Once the enemies see you they will choose to stand still, reposition (wander) or approach until you’re within their attack range.
They have three types of attacks:
- Heady Swing: Longer wind-up, high damage to H and stamina, significant knockback.
- Medium Swing: Balanced in wind-up time, damage, and knockback.
- Light Swing Quickest. Deals the least damage and knockback.
The attack’s damage depends on the weapon the enemy is holding and the type of attack they use.

Enemies may randomly block your attacks and incoming projectiles (thrown weapons and launched props). However, weapons with the unblockable property and explosions bypass their defenses.
Stagger – Kicks and Clicks
Kicking or using the camera flash will interrupt an enemy’s actions and push them back.
If you stagger an enemy and then re-enter their melee range, they can break free from the stun lock and may attack you.

Kicking a staggered enemy will knock them back even further!
The flash mechanic works from a considerable distance, but to register, you need to aim directly at the enemy.
Environmental Kills
Ways to dispose of the enemies other than whacking them on the head with a metal stick:
- Push them into pits
- Trigger explosions
- Launch props at them
- Soap
- Have them walk into a fire-spitting geyser
- Throw them into anomalies
- Let saw blades do what they do best

Additional Notes
- Kicking does no damage.
- Throwing your weapon and explosions can decapitate enemies.
- You can block the enemy even when looking away from the attack, as long as it’s timed correctly.
- You can trigger a ‘stealth kill’ by hitting an enemy through a wall before they spot you.
- Props can be launched without kicking by ‘slingshotting’ them in the desired direction with a quick motion of the held object.
