Pros and Cons

  • + Tons of AoE damage constantly, allowing lots of movement
  • + No need for Cooldown Reduction or Mana
  • + Great scaling using Thorns as base for damage
  • + Uses Sattelite and Lightning Damage as multipliers
  • + Converts 80% of Health as Thorns damage
  • + Applies Fire as DoT (Burning Conviction) and often Holy explosion (Expulsion) on most attacks
  • + Great survivability from the big HP pool, Grace barrier and Lingering Liberation
  • + If you touch a thin wall, Sattelites can hit behimd them to keep combos going
  • – Doesn’t have any stacking damage
  • – Can be a bit boring at times
  • – Survivability becomes tougher at about Mythic XV Tier 20+

Skill Trees

Wrath:

  • Rapid Strikes (Col 1), extra attack speed
  • Lightning Thorns (Col 2), required for Avenger
  • Haste (Col 3) as Aura, can be swapped for Flurry if extra DPS is needed
  • Static Overload (Col 3), +40% damage on each Avenger, plus extra Move Speed/Attack speed from Mastery
  • Effect (Col 4), better aura
  • Magnetic Overload (Col 4), enemies being pulled all the time
  • Charged Blade (Col 5), 1 point only
  • Avenger (Col 5), main skill of the build
  • Ricochet (Col 6), so Orbs remain more time active
  • Charged Shield (Col 6), extra Lightning Damage
  • Wrathful Conviction (Col 7) to brigde across Conviction tree and apply a fire debuff on everyone hit

Conviction:

  • Salvation (Col 3) as Aura, required for survivability with proper mastery
  • Burning Conviction (Col 3), triggered from Wrathful Conviction
  • Ignite (Col 4), maybe 1 point only
  • Flare (Col 5), to get extra movement speed from Conviction active skills
  • Condemnation (Col 5), extra AoE from deaths
  • Cauterize (Col 6), no bleed against you
  • Purged Through Holy Flames (Col 7) to trigger Expulsion 50% of the time

Redemption:

  • Healing Touch (Col 1), for healing all the time on rotation
  • Resolve (Col 1), pickup radius is great
  • Prayer (Col 3) as Aura
  • Grace (Col 3), gets 100% proc with proper mastery and GR on Helm, amazing extra survival
  • Devotion (Col 4), better auras
  • Exorcism (Col 5), 1 point for some stuns
  • Forbearance (Col 5), extra resistance bonus

Vengeance Mastery:

  • Shattering Hits (Col 1), max it
  • Defender (Col 4), maybe max it if you focus on block
  • Supporter (Col 5), extra bonus damage from auras

Wrath Mastery:

  • Improved Thorns (Col 1), max it ASAP
  • Voltaic (Col 2), more Static Overload orbs
  • Static Cling (Col 3), slow all the time
  • Resistance (Col 4), damage reduction is cool
  • Thundering Wrath (Col 5), more Magnetic Overload procs from Static Overload
  • Electrocution (Col 6), more Avenger damage
  • Overloaded (Col 7), allows constant Move speed/Attack speed buff to be kept up

Skill Bar

Skill 1:

  • Some Wrath Lightning Attack to keep Charged Armor buff (From the Thundercharged set) going. I was using Sparkstrike (Col 1) at first, but then shifted to Blade Overloaded (Col 7) for the Attack Speed buff it provides, but it made the stacking speed for Charged Armor slower.

Skill 2:

  • Some Conviction Fire Attack to proc Flare, with some cooldown lower than its duration. Pyre (Col 4) is great to keep combos going, but now I use either Molten Fragmentations (Col 2) for weakened debuff, or Shooting Stars (Col 7) for stun. I guess I’ll use Scorch (Col 2) since cooldown from Molten Fragmentations is too low.

Skill 3:

  • Healing Touch (Col 1) from Redemption to give some extra healing, can be kept almost all the time. Using Blinding Light can help it stun enemies.

Skill 4:

  • Wrath Aura (Haste or Flurry), can be included in the skill rotation.

Skill 5/6:

  • Prayer and Salvation auras, no need to activate them.
  • Set everything to the same button. If you put a skill with cooldown as skill 1, you don’t even need to let the button go.
