This Call of Duty Warzone Weapon Loadouts Guide will show you the best loadouts in the game. You can have multiple Loadouts with the choice of your own primary and secondary weapons, along with their mods.

Warzone is still pretty new and we are still finding out some of the best weapons in the game mode. However, most weapons come from the base game itself, so we have a good idea of what weapons you should have in your custom Loadouts and how to use them in the game.

As you may be aware, the game allows you to call upon your own custom Loadout in the Loadout Drop. This allows you to have the specific loadout that you may have created in the lobby and allows you to bring up any loadout that you might need in the fight.

CoD Warzone Best Loadouts and Weapons

What are the best loadouts in Call of Duty: Warzone?

We’ve made these loadouts specifically to work best in Warzone. There’ll be far more long-range engagements than in standard Call of Duty Multiplayer modes, so we’ve adjusted the classes to suit these needs better.

Warzone Light Machine Gun Loadout

Light Machine Guns are pretty strong at long ranges, and their large magazine size means you’ll be able to take on several armoured-up foes without having to reload.

Our favourite is the PKM – it’s got a load of power at range and can hold its own close-up too. You’ll need to play with the gun to unlock attachments, but even without them it’s worth giving this weapon a go.

One thing to keep in mind is this gun’s shoddy mobility – you won’t be able to aim down your sights very fast or anything like that. You’ll do best finding a decent position to mount your gun and take down moving enemies – with solid accuracy you’ll even be able to kill folks in cars and choppers.

Here’s the full loadout:

  • Primary Weapon: PKM (Attachments: Compensator, 26.9” Extended Barrel, Merc Thermal Optic, Commando Foregrip, 150 Round Belt)
  • Secondary Weapon: .357 (Attachments: .357 Snub Nose, 1mW Laser, Lightweight Trigger, Snake Shot, Stippled Grip Tape)
  • Perks: EOD, Ghost, Tracker
  • Lethal: Claymore
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor

The Heartbeat Sensor can save your skin in tight situations when you’re indoors. You can get out your .357 and keep tabs on enemy locations near you – intel is vital in Warzone.

Your Perks are here to keep you alive. EOD stops you getting shredded by enemy grenades and other explosives, whilst Ghost keeps you off the radar when they use UAVs. Tracker is a solid option because it lets you chase down foes when they’re trying to get away.

Warzone Assault Rifle Loadout

Assault Rifles are often going to be your weapon of choice in the Warzone. Decking it out however you want is a reliable way to rack up kills on multiple people at once, and the class’ versatility is perfect for a great deal of engagements.

We’ve changed up the perks and grenades to better suit a more mobile playstyle too.

  • Primary Weapon: M4A1 (Attachments: Compensator, FSS 14.5” Tac Lite, Monocle Reflex Sight – or any optic, Commando Foregrip, 60 Round Mags)
  • Secondary Weapon: .357 (Attachments: .357 Snub Nose, 1mW Laser, Lightweight Trigger, Snake Shot, Stippled Grip Tape)
  • Perks: Kill Chain, Restock, Tracker
  • Lethal: Frag Grenade
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor

Kill Chain and Restock are added to this Warzone class because you’re more likely to be on the attack with these weapons, invading enemy buildings and surprising them with explosives and killstreaks. Kill Chain, in Warzone, increases your chances of finding killstreaks in supply boxes. You’ll be able to find more UAVs and airstrikes, allowing you to take on enemies far more easily.

We can’t overstate how powerful UAVs are in Warzone – knowing where your foe is can really be a matter of life and death.

Heartbeat Sensor is here for the same reason – in close-quarters encounters, you’ll have the information advantage.

Warzone Sniper Loadout

It’s always good to have a sniper rifle on hand. For this class, we’ve chosen the AX-50, but the HDR is just as useful if you’re looking for high-powered one shot headshots. It mostly comes down to personal preference. We’ve kitted out the AX-50 too, so you can hit enemies for big damage at extra range, whilst keeping your accuracy and aim stability as good as possible.

Thermal scopes along with your smoke grenade are a top combo too, as you’ll be able to see everything whilst your opponents are blind.

  • Primary Weapon: AX-50 (Attachments: Singuard Arms Pro Barrel, Thermal Sniper Scope, Singuard Arms Marksman Stock, 7 Round Mags, Granulated Rear Grip Tape)
  • Secondary Weapon: MP5 (Attachments: Compensator Muzzle, Integral Hybrid scope, FTAC Collapsible Stock, Operator Foregrip, 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags)
  • Perks: EOD, Overkill, Shrapnel
  • Lethal: Claymore
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

The big thing with this class is the Overkill perk. Snipers aren’t great at all in close-quarters unless you can somehow hit quick-scope headshots reliably. Instead, we’ve gone for a second Primary weapon – the MP5 submachine gun. It’s one of our favourite close-range weapons, and if enemies infiltrate your building you can easily spray them down with this, particularly if you have the 10mm mags.

Claymores, along with Shrapnel, let you hunker down in a building much more easily too, and even if the enemy is armoured and isn’t killed by the Claymore, you’ll get a hit marker for recon and the foe’s health will stay low for longer before regeneration. You also get two Claymores instead of one, allowing you to cover more exits than otherwise.
