DEATHLOOP Lost in Transmission
Face Egor
While Aleksis’s party is going on in Updaam, Egor is hanging out at The Complex. So, when evening rolls around, head over there.
As you exit out of the tunnels on the left, you’ll hear Egor yelling orders out to a couple of Eternalists. While this is happening, make your way around the right side near the fence (you can also find some Residuum here).
Your waypoint will lead you toward a bunker, with four Eternalists taking cover outside. One will be up on the right side, one on top of a vehicle pointing towards the bunker, and two more on the ground.
Take out the one on the vehicle first. Then, take out the one on the far right, and handle the others last. Once they’re taken care of, head up the right side of the compound and use Shift to move into the open window at the top.
Once inside, you can find Residuum directly ahead. You’ll also see that the area to your left is filled with lasermines and landmines. Move carefully forward, disabling them as you go (or shooting them with a silenced weapon). If you set them off, Egor will be alerted to your presence here.
As you reach the bottom of the stairs, you’ll also have a sensor to deal with on your left. Use your Hackamajig to quickly scramble it, then move out. From the platform, look left and you’ll see a pipe with another platform on it. Use Shift to move over to it, avoiding the floor and numerous traps Egor has set out.
From this platform, move down to the vehicle on the right, then to the next vehicle on the right towards the far door. You’ll then enter into a tunnel with more lasermines up ahead. Move carefully, disabling or shooting them with a silenced weapon as you go.
Discover Egor’s Discovery – DEATHLOOP Lost in Transmission
Once you’re out the next door, you’ll see Egor’s lab up ahead. Careful, though, as he is very close by. Make your way over to his camp, climb the stairs, and head inside. Here, you’ll find his Minicom (with Private Messages between Egor and Aleksis, Private Messages between Egor and Wenjie, and Private Messages between Egor and Harriet), an AEON Optics recording, a LIMP-10 weapon by his bedside, and a Sleek Personal trinket next to the Minicom.
Egor will very likely come after you while you’re digging around his personal space. Unfortunately, he’s a bit tricky to keep track of, too, since he has the Aether Slab, which makes him invisible. If you kill him here, though, you’ll get that Slab along with four Sleek Personal Trinkets, three Sleek Weapon Trinkets, the Rapiér weapon, and +11500 Residuum.
Find Egor’s Data/Learn More About Egor
Now, if you head back outside from his camp, down the stairs, and take a sharp right, there’s another part of the lab here that you can explore. Break the lower level window with your machete and jump through. In here, you’ll find the Egor’s Big Plan recording, three Fiz-Pop cans, two boxes of Large Caliber Rounds, the How Well Do YOU Know Blackreef? note, and the Radial Fluctuations note.
Silence Egor’s Device/Find Egor’s Control Panel
Thankfully, you have plenty of time to silence Egor’s fancy device. So, whenever you’re ready, head back to The Complex to scope out his lab again and find this device.
The control panel will be right outside your tunnel door, but there are a couple of Eternalists roaming around you’ll have to deal with first. Three will be on the hill facing away from you, but two will be facing the device. Take them out quickly with a silenced weapon or stealthily make your way up to them.
Reveal the Control Panel – DEATHLOOP Lost in Transmission
Once you’ve done that, head for the control panel. However, similar to Egor’s Slab, this device is also invisible. So, you’ll have to find a way to reveal it. Head back up the hill to his lab.
Unfortunately, the front door will be locked. You can still get in through an open hatch on the roof, though (be careful of the laser alarms, which will set off the turrets), or you can smash open the front window and use Shift to get inside.
Inside will now be two turrets you can hack and a hatch will be open in the back corner that you can jump down into. Down here, you’ll find another turret you can hack and a Sleek Personal Trinket.
However, the main information you need is upstairs on the machinery near the windows. It’s the A Feature, Not a Bug note, and it explains that you can fix the invisibility problem with a Nullifier. Thankfully, there are several right at your feet.
Unveil the Invisible Panel/Shut Down Device
Pick one up and take it back to the control panel. Set it down so it’s facing it, and once the panel is visible, enter the listening device’s number. This will shut it down, therefore preventing Egor’s scientific breakthrough and freeing up his evening to head to Aleksis’s.
Now, head back to the exit.
Party Ghost
With the experiment sabotaged, Egor will have no reason not to attend Aleksis’ party this evening.
