Welcome to our DEATHLOOP Stutter FIX guide. This guide will show you how to run your game more smoothly. If you notice that the frames are high but the game feels stuttery or not smooth in general, this guide is for you. These are some of the suggestions people gave me and they seem to help the game run a tad bit better.

DEATHLOOP Stutter FIX

Steps

1) Limit your frames to 60
2) Turn on Vsync in the Nvidia/AMD control panel
3) Turn Nvidia Reflex to On+Boost
4) Turn Low Latency Mode On (According to some people this can make it worse so depending on what you notice change this.)
5) Turn FSR on if you don’t mind the game getting blurry even at Ultra Quality. If you are playing at 4K enable it.
6) Make sure you have AMD/Nvidia’s latest drivers installed

All suggestions are welcome and please do correct me if anything on here is wrong or counterproductive. Hope you have a smooth experience playing Deathloop!

About DEATHLOOP Gameplay

Deathloop has the gamer in the role of Colt, an assassin who is stuck in a time loop, getting up on a beach at the island of Blackreef. The other citizens of Blackreef, a former army base where weird experiments had actually as soon as been held, have actually purchased the island and have actually gathered for this night to hold a celebration that seemingly lasts permanently, as at the end of each night, the island resets to the start of the party in that time loop.

Because of this reset, the partygoers pay no heed to their actions or deeds since they get up at the start of the loop without any memories or effects of the previous loop. While Colt is part of this loop, he keeps memories from each loop, learning the behaviors and patterns of the partygoers with each loop.

Colt has actually been charged to get 8 targets throughout the island before midnight, as leaving even one alive will trigger the time loop to reset and undo his work. Even more, ought to Colt die prior to taking out the 8 targets, he will wake back up at the start of the loop. Unlike The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, another game with a time loop that runs in real time, the time loop in Deathloop is not strictly timed and is aimed to give players more time and freedom to secure these eight targets in one loop.
