Burnhouse Lane How to save Aarno

This should help you save Aarno in Chapter 3 (and help with the Golden Ending overall).

Preparation (before Green Manor)

CHAPTER ONE

Ask the Kebab guy his name. It is OMAR. Later, thank him by name and he’ll give you a kebab dinner. Also, grab the treasure in the ladies bathroom (search all toilets) so you can use Mr. Grey’s power twice.

CHAPTER TWO

At the beginning of the chapter, when Angie, Ciaran, George, and Midge the Sheep are all in the kitchen, offer Ciaran the kebab. Later, when you head to Ciaran’s trailer, pick up the aster flower growing beside the bench. (Also, maybe don’t use Mr. Grey’s ability on Ciaran. I’m not fully sure if this has any affect on this achievement and the Golden Ending, but it might be best to leave him be.)

When you’re in the church, grab the cupcake in the fridge from one of the cells.

CHAPTER THREE

Before you head to the woods and when you first talk to Ciaran, offer him the cupcake and ONLY ask him about the woods and Jenny’s whereabouts. Don’t ask him about dinner or sleeping on the couch, it will sour your relationship.

Later, before you head into the woods, play Ciaran’s game. Make sure you get the second place prize (his sheep token) by shooting four out of five bottles. Keep the sheep on you for the rest of the chapter (don’t put it on the shelf until the next chapter).

Later, when you meet Aarno in the woods, use the first use of Mr Grey’s ability to reveal Aarno’s secret about Walter Green. The second use of the ability will be for later.

At the Green Family Manor

When you first arrive at the manor, leave the Aster flower at the grave. When it’s time to actually save Aarno, YOU MUST PICK THE FOLLOWING DIALOG OPTIONS OR ELSE YOU WILL NOT SAVE HIM.

By order, they are the following:

1. I know your secret, Walter! Or should I say…Sheila?
2. It’s because of your father, isn’t it? You loved him and wanted to be like him.
3. But then you discovered black magic…and you tried to bring him back.
4. You saw me put that flower on Walter’s coffin. You know why I did it?
5. NOW, STAND DOWN, SOLDIER! (USE THE SECOND USE OF MR GREY’S ABILITY)
