In Wild Hearts, players have the ability to create and equip a variety of different all weapons that will drastically change their approach to hunting. Each weapon has its own unique set of advantages and disadvantages, and can be thought of as the game’s equivalent to classes.

We know that there are people who have a hard time finishing the WILD HEARTS game. If you are one of those who find it difficult to finish the game, let’s take you to our WILD HEARTS guide.

Wild Hearts All Weapons Guide

Welcome to our Wild Hearts All Weapons Guide. The game has a range of weapons available, and players can access them by using the Field Forge Karakuri, which allows them to craft new weapons, enhance their existing weapons or switch between different weapons. At the beginning of the game, players will have access to only five weapons, but as they progress through the game and reach Chapter 2, they will unlock the ability to craft three more weapons.

How do Weapons Work in Wild Hearts?

After crafting a weapon, players can then enhance it in the Field Forge Karakuri to add new skills that can be used during combat. Additionally, each weapon can be crafted multiple times and then upgraded individually, providing players with an opportunity to create different variations of the same weapon, which can be used to experiment with different builds.

In Wild Hearts, players can also add elemental attributes to their weapons. However, the effectiveness of these attributes will vary from one Kemono to another. Therefore, before starting a hunt, players should check the encyclopedia to determine which element is best suited to use against the Kemono they are currently hunting. It is worth noting that weapons that don’t deal elemental damage will have higher power than those that do.

Karakuri Katana

The Karakuri Katana is the first weapon that players receive in the game and is easy to handle. This mid-weight weapon has a short range and offers three types of attacks: a fast downward slash, a powerful Iai Slash that leaves you vulnerable, and a special Single-handed Lunge that consumes your stamina. By attacking and filling the weapon gauge, players can enter the “unleashed” state, which transforms the Katana into a longer-ranged chained-blade type weapon that deals extra damage.

The Nodachi

The Nodachi is a large, heavy blade that deals massive damage and is good for close-range combat. This weapon offers a variety of attacks that change depending on the player’s movement, such as a high-power downward slash, a receding slash that can be performed while running or spinning around, and a planted Iai stance that consumes stamina. To build the weapon gauge, players need to hold the special attack button and attack, and releasing the button will perform different attacks depending on the gauge’s fullness. The gauge can be used to perform a special Iai stance with variations, including a special attack while standing still, a special attack while moving, and a chained special attack that consumes a lot of stamina.

The Bow

The Bow is a long-range weapon that uses haya and otoya arrows to deal damage to Kemono. You can switch between two stances, horizontal for haya arrows and vertical for otoya arrows, and bolster the bow for additional attacks. In the haya stance, you can shoot arrows rapidly or initiate Arrow Rain, while in the otoya stance, you can charge the shots for more damage and explode the haya arrows lodged in the Kemono by bolstering.

The Bladed Wagasa

On the other hand, the Bladed Wagasa is a lightweight weapon that deals damage at a close range and can parry Kemono attacks. Quick attacks can be executed with the Attack 1 command, while powerful attacks and airborne moves are performed using the Attack 2 command. Parrying and attacking Kemono will increase the weapon gauge, making your attacks stronger.

The Maul

The Maul is a heavy weapon that deals powerful attacks and allows you to move around quickly. Its special attack can damage nearby Kemono but can also destroy Karakuri. If you press the Special Attack command after Attack 1 or 2, the handle of the Maul will extend, and you can perform various attack combos that require precise timing.

The Canon

The Canon is a heavy weapon that deals long-range damage. Two gauges are critical to using it, the charge gauge that displays how much Celestial Thread is left in the Canon and the heat gauge that displays its temperature. Each shot will consume the charge gauge, but you can replenish it by using the Attack 1 command to create a base on the ground, which you can also shoot at the Kemono using the Attack 2 command while holding the Special Attack command. The heat gauge will increase with each shot and when full, the weapon overheats, becoming temporarily inoperable. You can reduce the heat gauge by using Karakuri combos or shooting out the base using the Attack 2 command.

The Clawblade

The Clawblade is a weapon that you can acquire after completing Chapter 2. This is a light weapon that’s best suited for swift attacks in the air. You can use the Attack 1 command to deliver a series of quick attacks, and the Attack 2 command to move around. With the Special Attack command, you can impale a Kemono using the claw and use it as a grappling hook.

The Karakuri Staff

The Karakuri Staff is a medium-weight weapon that you can create after reaching Chapter 2. What sets it apart from other weapons is that it can change into five different forms. You can use the Attack 1 command for close-range attacks and the Attack 2 command for mutation-specific attacks. After performing an Attack 1 or Attack 2 combo, you can press the Special Attack command to execute transformation attacks. Increasing the transformation level of the staff improves the power of each form. You can switch between the different forms by using the Special Attack command. The Karakuri Staff has five forms, including the twin fang, the giant shuriken, the war pike, the long-staff, and the most powerful form of all, the giant sword, which can be executed by pressing the Special Attack command and the Attack 2 commands.
