Flying Mounts in Hogwarts Legacy refers to the magical beasts that wizards and witches can use to traverse the Wizarding World. We know that there are people who have a hard time finishing the Hogwarts Legacy game. If you are one of those who find it difficult to finish the game, let’s take you to our Hogwarts Legacy guide.

Hogwarts Legacy Flying Mounts Guide

Welcome to our Hogwarts Legacy Flying Mounts Guide. Unlike Brooms, which only allow its users to fly, Flying Mounts can also be used on the ground, acting like a normal horse would. The most popular flying mounts are the Hippogriffs and the Winged Horses, which include many diverse breeds.

Do I have to choose between Flying Mounts or Brooms?

For obvious reasons, players are able to only use one of the aforementioned types of flying transports at a time, but this doesn’t mean that you have to stick to one or the other. Wizards and Witches are able to decide freely between them in any instance of the game where flying is permitted.

What Do I need to start flying?

Players don’t need to learn a certain skill or ability to be able to fly. As soon as they receive their first Broom or Flying Mount they can use either to fly through an area that allows flying.

Hippogriffs

Hippogriffs are half-eagle and half-horse magical beasts. They are proud creatures that demand proper etiquette by the person approaching them. Hippogriffs are also extremely loyal and fiercely protective of those who have earned their trust, going as far as to put themselves in danger in order to help those persons they trust.

As is the case with Winged Horses, Hippogriffs owners are also required by law to cast Disillusionment Charms on them regularly, to conceal them from Muggles.
