Tomes and Tribulations is a Main Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Tomes and Tribulations revolves around reporting to Eleazar Fig about your findings in the Restricted Section of the Library. Main Quests are mandatory Quests that tell the main story of the game, and completing all of them will accomplish the completion of the game. Still, that doesn’t mean that Subquests, Challenges and Collections are not important, as these quests grant very useful items as rewards for completion and also contain a lot of Lore.

Take the Book to Professor Fig
Starting Location: Tomes and Tribulations
We have now learned that the secret hidden in the Library’s Restricted Section has to do with a student from the past, another fifth-year, capable of seeing traces of ancient magic. We must now inform Professor Fig on our recent discovery.
Return to Professor Fig’s Classroom
Open the map and warp to Professor Fig’s Classroom in the Astronomy Wing section. Once inside the glowing ring, press 
to begin the quest.
Take the Book to Professor Fig
Enter Professor Fig’s office, and you will notice he is not alone. Wait until he finishes talking to the other professor, and then talk to Fig. Apparently, you will learn that the book is incomplete, and some pages are missing. After this conversation, the quest will end.
About Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing game in which players are able to attend classes at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Locations from the Wizarding World franchise will be explorable such as the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade. Other areas as yet unseen visually in other media include the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw common rooms.Progressing through the game will see the interior and exterior of the castle change visually to match the seasons.
During character creation the player is able to choose their appearance, house, and gender. Players will be able to customize their character’s voice, body type and add accessories such as glasses in character creation. Level progression will allow the player to access and upgrade different spells, talents, and abilities. Through in-game challenges, the player character will gain experience points to gain levels.
