Inkshade Figurine Locations and Solutions

Using this guide, you can learn the locations and puzzle solutions of the figures in Inkshade, unlock all the collectibles, and complete the figure set.

All Figurine Locations & Puzzle Solutions

In Inkshade, players can collect a total of 36 figurines, scattered across different areas of the game. These collectibles are often hidden behind exploration puzzles, concealed in secret compartments, or placed within environmental challenges. This guide documents the location of every figurine, organized by the order in which they can be obtained, and provides puzzle solutions where necessary.

The figurines are arranged in the upgrade book under three regional categories:

  • West Wing
    • Acolyte, Occultist, Knifethrower, Longstep, Nightslinger, Punisher, Voidcaller, Flammenmancer, Apothecos, Arbiter, Executioner, Wireweaver
  • North Wing
    • Villager, Illuminary, Hunter, Mortuum, Lycanthrope, Dispellier, Skyshot, Corvusier, Dendralite, Farshot, Captain, Wretch
  • East Wing
    • Squire, Lancer, Archer, Scholar, Saletist, Defender, Starseer, Guardian, Rider, Sorcerer, Knight, Monarch

When a figurine is collected, the game attempts to place it in its designated slot. If the slot is already filled, the figurine will be stored in the next available space.

Game Room

The tutorial automatically provides the Wretch figurine, and requires players to gather three more to progress:

  • Acolyte, Villager, and Squire – Located under a side table inside a hidden compartment.

Parlor

Unlocked after completing a second run (or any valid path completion). The Parlor grants access to 12 figurines as well as the lantern, which allows navigation through dark areas.

  • Occultist, Hunter, and Lancer – Found on a pillar in front of the collection pedestal.
  • Knifethrower – Inside a drawer at the end of the table.
  • Mortuum and Lycanthrope – Unlock the hidden lever behind a painting to reveal a door beside the upgrade book.
  • Archer – Behind the rightmost painting once removed.
  • Longstep – Standing inside the gramophone.
  • Saletist – Resting on the food platter.
  • Nightslinger and Scholar – Inside a chest, unlocked by lighting candles in the correct pattern. The lighter is found on a nearby side table.
  • Illuminary – At the base of the griffin statue at the end of the dark stairway.

Praetorium

After defeating a boss at the end of any path, the Praetorium opens, containing 6 figurines.

  • Punisher – Inside a side cabinet in the lower left section.
  • Dispellier – On the chair beside the telescope.
  • Defender – Beneath the catwalk, near an ink pool.
  • Starseer, Skyshot, and Voidcaller – Obtained by completing the constellation puzzle.
    • Find four levers across the room (desk, lower cabinet, behind a painting, and bench on the upper catwalk).
    • Rotate the dials to align the stars. Adjust viewing angles for the side circles.
    • Once aligned, a beam of light activates the telescope, revealing the figurines.

The Hold

Unlocked after clearing two paths. Contains 3 figurines and access to the Maintenance Halls.

After clearing any two paths, The Hold will open up down the descending stairwell across the Parlor. Inside you can find another 4 figurines as well as the door to the Maintenance Halls, which will unlock after another two paths are cleared.

  • Dendralite – This tree figurine lies on a candlestick on the wall beside the chest.
  • Arbiter – Found on the ground near piles of coins on the central path.
  • Rider and Flammenmancer – Inside the large chest at the top of the stairs. Unlock by rotating the six attached valves in any sequence.

Bridge

Accessible after completing three paths. The Bridge holds 2 figurines and the Compass, required for game completion.

  • Apothecos, Sorcerer, and the Compass: For 2 figurines and the compass and you need to pull the levers to level the gauge at exactly the red marker. This can be accomplished by pulling levers 0, 1 and 5, or levers 1, 2, and 4. Once the dome is open you can pick up the 2 figurines jumbled at the bottom.
  • Guardian and Corvusier – Insert the missing dial (found in the glowing drawer) into the plugboard. Solve the puzzle by turning all lights green.

Maintenance Halls

Unlocked after the fourth path. This labyrinth-like area contains 2 figurines hidden in the treasure room.

  • To navigate: Follow the map directions – left (×3), right (×5), left (×3), right (×5), then continue left until the treasure room.
  • Indicators: Each “space” counts as the central map room or a side map. The Wretch figurine on the wall rotates to signal turns.
  • Farshot and Knight – Found on the pedestal inside the treasure room.

Once unlocked, the treasure room can be revisited by moving four spaces in either direction.

Study

Unlocked after completing the fifth path. Contains 1 figurine and a mysterious orb needed for the final puzzle.

  • Executioner – On the desk in the center of the ink-stained octagon.

Projector Room

Unlocked after finishing all six paths. This final chamber contains the last 3 figurines.

  • Place the orb from the Study into the projector. Use the dials to rotate the orb until the correct symbol is aligned.
  • Inside, players will find the figurines of the three major bosses:
    • Wireweaver
    • Captain
    • Monarch
