However, it must be noted that playing with Cheats enabled will stop you from receiving Steam Achievements (Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord). If cheats are used, you may disable them again at any time to re-enable Steam achievements since they are only disabled for the sessions in which they are used.

Mount and Blade Bannerlord How to Enable Cheats?

Step by step

  • Go to Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs
  • Open “engine_config.txt”
  • Look for “cheat_mode = 0” and change the value to “1”
  • Press RIGHT CLICK on engine_config.txt and go to Properties, make the file to “Read Only”
  • Now you will can use it.

Once you have complete steps above and activate developer console, you can use only the following 4 commands after starting a new campaign.

  • Ctrl+Left Click – Teleports you to the selected location on the world map.
  • Ctrl+H – Fully heals you.
  • CTRL+Shift+H – Fully heals your horse.
  • Ctrl+F4 – Knocks an enemy unconscious.

Note: You need to start a new campaign after activating the cheat mode (developer console). Otherwise the cheats will not work.

    Hey guys, who cant use cheat just make this steps:

    “Go to Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs

  2. Did what i needed to do. Did change config file, made it read only, started new game and nothing works for me, no console and not even teleport cheat works or any other

    This is not in the game folder, but in the save folder!

    This is not in c:/ program/Mount and Blade II Bannerlord
    But in c:/user/username/documents/Mount and Blade II Bannerlord

    help I don’t see the Configs at all and I then saw the save folder thang and tried that but it was not there ether
