You can visit any major town and use the Smithy simply by selecting the Smithy option when you interact with the city. This is where the game attempts to confuse you. If you go into the menu and the Smelting option is blank, it’s because you do not have any items to Smelt. Almost all weapons can be Smelted so go and do some raids, impart some freedom on some villages, and loot plenty of weapons then return to the Smithy.

How to Smelt Items In Bannerlord

Select the Smelt option. You will see it now lists all of the items you are carrying that can be Smelted. There is a single ingredient required for Smelting any weapon, Charcoal.
