How to Find Sewer Thing
If you’re trying to track down the secret vendor in Project Silverfish known only as Sewer Thing I’ve got a step-by-step guide to help you get there. It took some exploring, but here’s exactly how I found this mysterious trader hiding in the sewers.
Where to Find Sewer Thing
To begin, head over to the Crossroads area. From there, make your way behind the harbor. You should spot a sewer opening visible from the bridge that connects to the Depot area.
Enter that sewer tunnel, follow the passage to the end, and interact with the door. That’s where things start to get interesting.
Inside the Cistern: Getting to the Vendor
Once you go through the door, you’ll descend a ladder that takes you into the Cistern. From there, look for a stairwell leading all the way down to the bottom. Follow it to the very end.
At the bottom of the Cistern, directly across from the stairwell, you’ll see two sewer openings submerged in water. The one you want is on the left side this is the path that leads to the hidden vendor. (As of writing this, you don’t need an air tank unless you’re moving extremely slowly.)
Swim through the left-hand pipe until you come up inside a new tunnel. Climb the ladder there and continue along the tunnel to the end.
At last, you’ll meet the quirky little vendor who lives deep in the sewers and yes, he really does trade for mushrooms.

As of now, Sewer Thing offers an intriguing variety of items, including:

Most of these items require mushrooms as currency especially blue and gold mushrooms, so make sure to save those. Some items can also be purchased using molasses or small gas masks.
