Welcome to our The Store is Closed Beginners Guide! It goes over how and where you can get resources, how to find and kill bosses, and more! We know that there are people who have a hard time finishing the The Store is Closed game. If you are one of those who find it difficult to finish the game, let’s take you to our The Store is Closed guide.

The Store is Closed Beginners Guide

This is a beginners guide to The Store Is Closed. It goes over how and where you can get resources, how to find and kill bosses, and more!

Im The Map! Im The Map!

Welcome to The Store! Its an absolute cacophony of monsters, bosses, and exploration! Lets start off by learning the map!

The Store has many locations to explore! here’s a quick key on what color means what!

The Non-brand specific store: A beginners guide!

Yellow = Cafeteria
Blue = General Store
Light Blue = Path To Exit
Red = SCP Facility
Purple = Abandoned Survivor Outpost
Green (Not shown on this map) = Assistance Button

Cafeteria’s will give you food! The best food in the game are the Meatballs, since they recover full HP

The Path To Exit Is a map that shows you directions on how to exit the store. Thing is, the map goes on forever (>:/) Interacting with the map, however, will reveal to you a large portion of your map surrounding the Path To Exit Sign.

The SCP Facility, so far, has no enemies nor friendlies. If you manage to enter one of these bases, you should activate the three generators. They look like this:

If you activate all three, that SCP base becomes a waypoint! It will look like this on your map:

You can click the waypoint on your map whenever you want to teleport to it! (keep in mind that it will teleport you in the air, so make sure you’re not low on health)

The Abandoned Survivor Outpost will be a bed surrounded by some furniture or makeshift walls. Break the bed, because the bed will give you 5 Pristine Fabric, which is used to craft the flamethrower!

The Assistance Button is the most dangerous button you will see this whole game. The button summons the manager, who will, in return, absolutely demolish your ass if your not with a team (There is a way to cheeze him if you are playing solo, ill explain later) You need to kill the manager because he is the only source of Processed Bricks, which are used to create the chainsaw and the crossbow!

The Early game – The Store is Closed Beginners Guide

Welcome to the beginners guide! We will cover things like SCP facilities, backrooms, every resource in the game, and bosses!

To start off, I shouldnt have to tell you how to get wood, metal and cloth. You can find wood by breaking most furniture. Metal by breaking signs, and cloth by breaking carpet or posters.

With that out of the way, Your first priority is to make a hammer. Since it take 5 swings of a fist to break something in this game and it takes only 2 for a hammer, its going to save you from a lot of grinding.

Achievement Unlocked: Bob the Builder!

Keep in mind that you should start looking for a cafeteria at some point, since cafeterias have food, which is the only way to regain health.

Next, you shoud focus on finding a warehouse. The reason why is because the warehouse is the only location the the game where you can get concrete easily (besides breaking walls).
While you are in the warehouse, you will want to keep a keen eye for boxes that look like this, since they are the ones that will give you concrete!

Once you get your hands on some concrete, make yourself a sledgehammer! You wont, however, want to use the sledgehammer while breaking furniture. It’s slow and it takes the same amount of hits as a normal hammer does. Instead, use the sledgehammer for attacking enemies or breaking walls!

The Mid/Late Game

Now, you got yourself a decent weapon, you got some food to keep your health up, and you’re feeling kinda cocky! Its time we wet our feet into the scariest part of The Store: The Backrooms.

You may have noticed the gravity-defying structures in the sky, those would be the Backrooms! Ive made a whole seperate guide on how to get to it here:

Once you make your way inside, you’re gonna hear some phones ringing. Answer them! You will be given some fuel in return, a crucial component in making end-game items, such as the chainsaw, crossbow, and flamethrower!

Keep a keen eye on your surroundings, however. Because you are not alone in this nightmare! You will sometimes hear a voice of another fellow survivor asking for help or calling out to you. Go help them! Whats the worst that could happen?

But in all seriousness, do NOT follow the voice unless you want to be in kissing-distance of this:

Usually, you want to ignore this beautiful behemoth, but if you’re feeling extra ballsy, you can try and kill her! You wont get anything special, of course, and its definitely not recommended (unless you already have the chainsaw).

achievement Unlocked: Extra-Thicc Please!

You are going to need to do this twice, if you strive to get all three late-game items! If you, however, only want to do one, then save the fuel to craft the chainsaw.

Optional: Raiding an Abandoned Survivor Outpost!

You can find the Outposts relatively easily. Break the bed once you reach one; It’ll give you five Pristine Fabric! with the fabric and the fuel in hand, you can make a flamethrower! Keep in mind that the flamethrower can cause massive lag spikes, and that the flamethrower doesn’t do damage to employees. You will also have to raid a second Backrooms to get the chainsaw and crossbow.

Now, you’ve braved through the Mimic’s Monastery, Its time to face the ultimate challenge: The Manager!

The Non-brand specific store: A beginners guide!

This guy is tough, really tough. But you can do it. You havent come this far just to trip at the finish line, have you?! Pull yourself together damn it!

If you are with a group, you want to get one person to attract his aggro while the rest of the group gangbangs him from behind. This is a surefire way to get an easy first kill! Once you have teared his bulky britches in half, you will be rewared with the worlds more coveted item: A Processed brick!

Achievement Unlocked: YOU SON OF A BRICK! ILL KILL YOU!

Do this one more time, and you have enough resources to get every late-game item your prepubescent hands can get a hold of!

Weapons

The fun part of the game: Weapons! The game (At this time) has only 5 weapons, and each is useful for their own purpose!

Hammer
The Non-brand specific store: A beginners guide!

The hammer is an early game weapon that will down employees in 4 hits! Its crafted with three wood, three cloth and three metal!

Sledge Hammer
The Non-brand specific store: A beginners guide!

The Sledge hammer is a heavy weapon that takes longer to swing but deals more damage. It kills employees in 3 hits, but the hammer is still recommended for harvesting resources since the both the hammer and sledge hammer take 2 hits to break anything!

Crossbow
The Non-brand specific store: A beginners guide!

What are you doing here? Done even waste your time with this item. It does less damage than a hammer, takes 2 seconds to reload, has the reach of a doller-store gripper toy, and isnt even remotely worth the cost. Just make the chainsaw, and leave this sad excuse of a crossbow where it belongs: in hell.

Flamethrower
The Non-brand specific store: A beginners guide!

The flamethrower is a bit quirky with how it works. It doesn’t do any damage to employees, but it is incredibly efficient at clearing places for building bases and for harvesting resources! There is no reloading, so its infinite flame for the time being! Its going to cost you 3 fuel and 5 Pristine Fabric!

Chainsaw
The Non-brand specific store: A beginners guide!

This is, by far, the best weapon we have so far. It shreds through employees, managers, even the mimic! It blows through walls like paper mache, and it’ll only cost you 3 fuel and 5 processed bricks!

End

achievement Unlocked: So Long, Partner…
