APICO How to unlock Glitched Solitary Bee Species

Achievements Associated

Hacker Bee and Bugged Butterfly are special species of solitary bees and butterflies, introduced by the recent update. They are hidden in the books until discovered, and associated with two achievements, namely:

Bugged Butterfly

Bugged Butterflies spawn on the Debugger machine (the one displaying “>_”) intermittently in Dev’s Hideout (please refer to other guides or the wiki if you have no idea about where this place be) and should be kept near the same machine. The catepillars feed on golden leaves.

Hacker Bee – APICO How to unlock Glitched Solitary Bee Species

To attract Hacker Bees, set up a bee hotel of any size in Dev’s Hideout with magenta cubes (you can find some in a crate nearby).

Hacker Bees consume magenta cubes and give a wide scope of products, including many of (if not all) the items from other solitary bee species. They also produce magenta cubes again.
