Stuck on Mayor for a Day Quest

I got the quest and got to the saboteur’s hideout. It says to check for clues, but I can only get 4/5 clues. In the safe it has 2 copies of his work password, even though only one is marked as a quest item.

Check inventory, read / listen to holotapes if you pick one up and not listen it wont count, happened to me.
So also…
Do not use the take command, use the exchange command and you will see many more choices. You only need to take the items with the quest markers. If you use the take command it will not show all the quest items or allow you to take some items at all.
