Kerbal Space Program Space Stations

Welcome to our Kerbal Space Program Space Stations guide. Do you know how important space stations are in science and career mode? If you’ve wondered if you could make a science generator that will never broke, or stay forever in space, Then reading this guide could be good for you.

Space Station is Science Generator

It’s because of the mobile lab modules making science nonstop.
I’ll explain this more on the functions.

Making The Space / Science Station (Essential Parts)

Command Pods

You should usually use probes as your main control system in your space station. So if no kerbals is on board (or died possibly) the station then some controls could be done with it. Also if you want a realastic space station always add the cupola module (The command capsule with lots of windows like a submarine). You will get a realastic view there.

Transmitting Science

There are 2 possible ways:

  1. Antennas (But must be present in a station if it is a science generator)
  2. Science storage unit

About antennas, You already knew how to do it. Do science and transmit it. Also why did I told that it must be in a science generator station, it’s because Science is generating every second in the mobile lab and must be transmitted immedietly.

About science storage unit, Transfeer all your science there and let it alone return to earth, resulting in no transmitting science penalty.

Science Generators

So get every science things as possible.

And of course, the mobile lab.
It’s function is important. It generates science every single second. Might be not that much, But it’s benefits is unforseen until you do this next step.

Making it More Effective

Just repeat that on diffrent planets, And you could add more to a planet.
And next time you visit KSC, The scientist would be swimming with science!
