Shoot The Zombies

The Where

Where do we shoot the zombies?

Well here is a handy dandy image for zombie damage.

  • Red = Big damage
  • Orange = Still kinda big damage
  • Yellow = You should really aim at the other spots
  • Green= Bruh. Stop.

If you want to get more technical here is some damage numbers i came up with from testing.

Tests were done with Val, no equipment, using MUP.

The How

How do we shoot the zombies you ask?

Its easy enough to just aim at a zombie and pull the trigger, watch the damage numbers fly oooo ahhhh. but have you considered aiming?

If you fire you weapon any time your crosshairs are spread, such as when moving or twitch shooting, you will be doing base damage with your firearm. Base damage on a head shot with the MUP is 270 damage. If you allow the crosshairs to collapse down to the point you are now aiming.

Aiming applies a 1.5x modifier to weapon damage. Now that head shot on that zombie is going to do 405 total damage. But this isn’t the only thing aiming does, oh no. Aiming also increases your critical hit rate.

Critical hits also apply an 1.5x modifier to the damage. they are random but they feel so good to hit with. Critical hit multiplier also stacks with the aiming multiplier to make an aimed crit

Thats right, an Aimed Critical Hit is going to net you a whopping 2.25x multiplier to the damage of your shot. Remember that 270 head shot? Forget that noise how about 608 damage with one shot!
