Keyboard Shortcuts Definitions

So, you’ve decided to learn how to play slay the spire with just keyboard but don’t know what they mean? Then welcome, keyboard warrior. This guide’s purpose is to lay out the definition of each term for your ease when setting preferences.

Definitions

Confirm card: This stroke allows you to confirm playing a card from your hand after selecting it. (See selecting below).

Cancel/Exit: Opens game settings tab to allow you to save and exit, or tab over to input settings.

Map: Pull up the map. I realize not all of these need be defined, but eh. I’m a thorough kinda guy.

View deck: Pull up your deck list. Can be used in combat or on the map!

Draw pile: View your draw pile. Only works in combat (duH)

Discard pile: View your discard pile. see above snarky comment.

Exhaust pile: Really? View your exhaust pile. jeez, being thorough is exhausting.

End turn: End combat turn. Does not work while a card is being selected (See selecting below)

Left: View next left-most card from last viewed card. (Viewing a card is to view it’s effect while keeping it in your hand. Is not the same as selecting. For more of selecting, see below.)

Right: View next left-most card from last viewed card. (Viewing a card is to view it’s effect while keeping it in your hand. Is not the same as selecting. For more of selecting, see below.)

Select card (1-0): Select a card, ordered left to right, 1-10. Selecting a card pulls the card out of your hand and holds it in the center if it is a power or skill. If it is an attack, it pulls up the arrow for attack.

Release Card: Unknown. This does not seem to do anything as of [V1.0] (01-23-2019). My assumption is this is to release a selected card back to your hand.
