Disney Dreamlight Valley: Scramble Coin Guide

If you are wondering how to play scramble coins in Disney Dreamlight Valley and need tips, you can check out this guide.

How to Play Scramble Coin

Are you having trouble playing Scramble coins? All the tips you can find are here. Once fully ranked, the characters were played over and over again to see if anything changed, and this is the result.

Basics

Starting Scramblecoin

After unlocking Ancient’s Landing in the DLC Rift of time, you receive a quest, A Game of Coins, with Mickey Mouse. You have to speak to him. You’ll see an option that says, “Do you want to play Scramblecoin?” And of course he does!

You start out with 5 basic tokens (characters). All from Mickey and Friends.

  • Donald Duck
  • Minnie Mouse
  • Goofy
  • Mickey Mouse
  • Scrooge McDuck

Each character has different playing conditions, entry points on the board, moves, and sometimes special abilities. Those will be covered in another section.

You choose 5 tokens to play the game. Once you beat Mickey Mouse, you will complete the quest, A Game of Coins.

As you continue to play different characters you will rank up. Either from losing or winning. You will also win different tokens (characters) when you reach certain points on the ranking map. That will also be covered in another section.

There are 4 tokens (characters) that you have to craft at the Timebending Table. They will be covered, along with the materials needed to craft them.

You can play all characters as many times as you want, but you only receive points from the first play with each character.

Scramble Coin Ranking Awards

As you play Scramblecoin your ranking will rise. With either a defeat, draw, or a victory.

For ranking the points differ from victory, draw, and defeat. Also depends on if the villager is an eager player or not. An eager villager will have a Scramblecoin chat bubble over their head. Non-eager players will not, but you can still play Scramblecoin with them.

Normal Rank Impact:

  • Victory – +3
  • Draw – +2
  • Defeat – +1

Eager Villager Impact:

  • Victory – +6
  • Draw – +4
  • Defeat – +2

When you reach a certain rank, you unlock a new token (character) to use in the game and 2 Scramblecoin figurines of the same character, to use in furniture mode.

The ranks you get them are as follows:

  • 3
  • 9
  • 15
  • 24
  • 33
  • 45
  • 57
  • 69
  • 84
  • 99
  • 114
  • 129
  • 147
  • 165
  • 183
  • 201
  • 219
  • 237
  • 258
  • 279
  • 300

From looking around on the internet and from friends of mine playing the game, the tokens given at ranking change for each player. So what I’ve gotten when I ranked, will most likely be different than you have received when you ranked.

When I ranked this is what I received:

  • Rank 3: Cogsworth
  • Rank 9: Nala
  • Rank 15: Flynn
  • Rank 24: Simba
  • Rank 33: Remy
  • Rank 45: Lumiere
  • Rank 57: Pumbaa
  • Rank 69: Fairy Godmother
  • Rank 84: Eve
  • Rank 99: Wall-E
  • Rank 114: Olaf
  • Rank 129: Ralph
  • Rank 147: Ursula
  • Rank 165: Gaston
  • Rank 183: Stitch
  • Rank 201: Anna
  • Rank 219: Scar
  • Rank 237: Moana
  • Rank 258: Rapunzel
  • Rank 279: Elsa
  • Rank 300: Cinderella

And keep in mind there are 4 you have to craft at the Timebending Table. And you are automatically given 5 at the start.

The tokens that you have to craft are: Rafiki, Merlin, Forky, and Kristoff. They will be covered in another section.
Tokens given at the start: Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Scrooge McDuck.

As new characters are added, this guide will be updated.
