Escape the Backrooms is a video game that allows players to explore multiple levels of eerie backrooms filled with dangerous entities. Each level has unique ways to escape and obstacles to overcome. The game boasts realistic graphics and a creepy atmosphere with minimal user interfaces.
Elevator Code
Players can team up with up to 4 people to explore the backrooms, but must be careful not to clip into other areas of the map. There are over 15 levels available, with consistent content updates. The game features proximity voice chat, allowing players to communicate with each other, but entities can also hear their conversations.
There are 10 different dangerous entities in the game, each with its own set of mechanics. This guide will focus on the elevator or lift code for level 1, floor 1 of the game.
To unlock the elevator in Escape the Backrooms, players must pay attention to the colors of the cars in the garage.
Upon reaching the level, players will encounter a garage with four cars of different colors – red, green, blue, and yellow/orange. It is important to remember the colors of the cars from left to right and top to bottom.
- Open a garage door and go inside the garage.
- Remember the colors of the cars from left to right and up to down.
- Enter the elevator code (e.g. red, red, yellow, blue).
- Do note that the elevator code is different for every game.
It is worth noting that the elevator code varies in each game, meaning players must restart the game and revisit the garage to memorize the colors of the cars once again. The process must be repeated each time the game is restarted.
