If you like me got stuck on Gamedec hacking the drones in Lower City this guide is for you! There’s probably a logic to this but I didn’t get it at all.

Gamedec How to Hack Drones in Lower City
MDK DroneFollow this part if you want to know which options to choose in order to either overload (destroy) or takeover the MDK Drone.
- Inspect the MDK Drone and choose [Glazier] [Hack it]
- Choose the name 3. [047-SVD-38899045-Rammy]
To overload (destroy) the drone, select one of the following options repeatedly:
- 2. [Improvise]
- 3. [Check encryption protocol]
- 4. [Look for defense systems]
To takeover the drone, select enough of the following options under the selection “5. [Use city network resources] for it to be taken over:

- 045-LMP-12332350-L1nG
- 047-DAD-6772934-L1nG
- 047-LMP-12332343-L1nG

New MCC BuoyFollow this part if you want to know which options to choose in order to either overload (destroy) or takeover the New MCC Buoy.
- Inspect the New MCC Buoy and choose [Glazier] [Hack it]
- Choose the name 4. [047-MCC-525620-L1nG]
To overload (destroy) the drone, select one of the following options repeatedly:
- 1. [Improvise]
- 4. [Look for defense systems]
- 5. [Check encryption protocol]
To takeover the drone, select enough of the following options under the selection “3. [Use city network resources] for it to be taken over:

The “logic” for hacking is described in Codex. The 3 letters in drones name define protocol it uses for communication. Each protocol have positive or negative effect when communicating with another drone that use a different protocol. It’s a trial and error process, but once you find the correct protocols, it’s easy.
For hacking the medical drone that use SVD protocol, you must connect it with drones using DAD or LMP protocols. To hack the Buoy drone that use MMC protocol, you must use SAD or WKT protocols.
