Siegfried takes on the role of an Ally Character in Granblue Fantasy Relink. As a special-type character and one of the game’s heaviest allies, Siegfried excels in powerful swings, capable of unleashing devastating attacks when timed perfectly. Allies or Companions in Granblue Fantasy Relink refer to recruitable characters who join The Captain’s party for both exploration and combat.

Each ally is distinct, showcasing differences in elements they control, weapon specialization, combat style, personality, and appearance. In the game, players can form a party of four, with the player-controlled character occupying the leftmost slot. However, in the main story, The Captain is a must-have in the party, while in other scenarios, players have the freedom to play as any character of their liking.

How to Play Siegfried

The blood of a dragon courses through this formidable knight’s veins, guiding the effortless swings of his greatsword that effortlessly cleave enemies in twain.

Basic Attacks:

• Continuously pressing executes a combo, while initiates a launching attack, immune to interruptions.
• Within a combo, timing deals increased damage when executed precisely.

Despite the heavy bulk of his stature and weapon choice, Siegfried’s greatsword strikes are both swift and accurate. Although his attack animations may not match the speed of Yodarha or Gran, he compensates with remarkable mobility. His skills enhance both offensive and defensive capabilities, enabling him to swiftly engage and dispatch multiple enemies with wide-ranging swings. Siegfried’s playstyle introduces an additional layer with heightened Stun Power, rapidly filling the Enemies’ Stun gauge, facilitating Link Attacks, and leading the party into Link Time, where his deliberate strikes gain heightened impact amidst the slowed-down pace.

Mastering the timing of attacks and skill chaining may initially feel a tad clunky due to moderate animation speeds. However, once players grasp his playstyle, the accrued damage becomes apparent. Repositioning plays a pivotal role, leveraging his mobility between attacks and strategically striking to maximize the wide hit-range of his assaults.

Best Siegfried Build

Weapon

• Windhose (unlocks after the Main Story). It boosts damage to weak points, perfect for this build.

Main Sigils

1. Stun Power: Makes his stun skills stronger, leading to more damage.
2. Drain: Heals you as you attack, so you can keep fighting.
3. Exploiter: Boosts damage when hitting enemies from behind. Works well with Siegfried’s combos.
4. Attack Power: Adds more damage.
5. Combo Finisher: Siegfried’s Drachenblut ability ensures heavy attacks can’t be stopped. This makes Combo Finisher Sigil very useful.

Conditional Sigils

1. Health: Choose this if you need to be tougher than stronger.
2. Critical Hit Rate: Pick this for a more attack-focused Siegfried.
3. Quick Cooldown: Good for using abilities more often, making Siegfried more of an offensive helper.

Skills

1. Uwe: Essential for the Stout Heart buff, letting you combo without being stopped by enemy hits.
2. Nelah Nav: A big stun skill, almost always useful.
3. Salvator: Gives Debuff Immunity, keeping your combos going. It also has Drain to heal you as you attack.
4. Verdrangen: Lowers enemy defense, increasing your and your team’s damage.

Masteries

Before he’s fully upgraded, focus on paths that improve Stun Power and Back Attack Damage.

Siegfried Fate Episodes and Rewards

Fate Episodes are a unique feature in the game, providing players with a glimpse into each Ally’s perspective on the unfolding events throughout the story. These fully-voiced diary entries offer an insight into the character’s thoughts and feelings as the narrative unfolds. As players advance through the story, level up their characters, and successfully complete Fate Episodes, more of these insightful episodes become available.

Completion of Fate Episodes not only grants players valuable stat bonuses but also unlocks slots for equipping Sigils, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
