Strange Horticulture Walkthrough & Guide 100%

Strange Horticulture is a relaxed point and click mystery/puzzle game developed by Bad Viking and published by Iceberg Interactive. In it, you play an unnamed gardener who runs the disturbing Strange Horticulture. Over time, you receive different people from all over the region and offer them your services related to the facilities.

Day 1 Friday

Starting Clues:

  • Letter from Simone: explore Ambleside (C20) for 2 new plants
  • Short note: Find the plant in the hills to the northeast of Backbarrow (M21)
  • 1st Customer – Victoria Gray: John’s Poppy, plant with bright read flowers with a yellow centre
  • Mailman – David Chafer: Get Amos Duncan’s letter & tokens to explore
  • Amos Duncan Letter 1: woods just south of Gosforth > coordinates G5
  • 2nd Customer – Gilbert Ames: Phennet in exchange for Lemon Dandy (curly leaves and bright blue flowers)
  • 3rd Customer – Faye Swift: Give her Forest Camphry
  • 4th Customer – Nora Butterfield: Give her Wandering Bue, a mushroom

Day 2 Saturday – Strange Horticulture Walkthrough

  • Starting Clue: Use the card to get the plant at the River (H11)
  • 1st Customer – Isodore Burbidge: Give her Apis Demissus ( Gandyroot)
  • Mailman – David Chafer: Get another Amos Duncan’s letter
  • Amos Duncan Letter 2: Hard Knott > The door requires Clavilium
  • 2nd Customer – Rueben Ward: Give him Fox Button
  • 3rd Customer – Victoria Gray: Give her Harlequin Blue
  • 4th Customer – Bethany Coleman: Give her Mary’s Breath
  • Letter from the Sisterhood: Find the sisters in Grizedale Forest (J17) > you will need Ren
  • 5th Customer – Isodore Burbridge: Give him either Butterdale, or Meakdew

Day 3 Sunday

  • Starting Clue: Study the map and go to E17 for 2 new plants
  • 1st Customer – Wilbur Miller: Give him Lady of Summer
  • Mailman – David Chafer: Get another Amos Duncan’s letter
  • Amos Duncan Letter 3: Go explore Great Gable (A13), you will need help from Brimlock
  • 2nd Customer – Norman Lee: He will give you a new plant
  • 3rd Customer – Simone Green: Give him Common Trouse (on Red Pike)
  • 4th Customer – Verona Green: Give her Shimmerlung
  • 5th Customer – Ruth Douglas: Give him Meakdew

Day 4 Monday – Strange Horticulture Walkthrough & Guide 100%

  • Starting Clue: line up the tear with the map that X and go to N6 for 2 new plants
  • 1st Customer – Reuban Ward: Give him Phennet
  • Mailman – David Chafer: Get a letter from Verona Green
  • Verona Green Letter: Find the plant at Grizedale forest, at K19, you will need Mellow-Glow to get past the Sisters
  • 2nd Customer – Faye Swift: give her Aguria to ease her visions, or Candlewood to encourage them
  • 3rd Customer – Margaret Elsbeth: Explore the library at Sizergh Castle (K26)
  • 4ath Customer – Phillip Shaw: Give him Wandering Bue
  • 4bth Customer – Francis Abberton: Give him Gandyroot
  • 5th Customer – Selina Scott: Give her Sunset Mountcap

Day 5 Tuesday

  • Starting Clue: Go to castle northwest of the abbey (Egremont Castle at B1), then x3 miles east, to B4, for a new plant
  • 1st Customer – Faye Swift: Give her Worryless
  • 2nd Customer – Simone Green: give him Common Trouse, and go look for the man
  • Note from Simone: Source of the River (J22) > down 2 + right 3 = L25 > You will need Red Abony
  • 3rd Customer – Conrad Stanway: Give him Caballia (6 petalled flower)
  • 4th Customer – Unknown: Give her Hopheart
  • 5th Customer – Verona Green: Give her Witch Phygg (similar to Feverkiss, but yellow berries)
  • 6th Customer – Isadore Burbidge: give him Amnesia with Henchuck, or cause him to go insane and die with Storian

Day 6 Wednesday

  • Starting Clue: Follow the river out of Coniston water down to where it forks (O17) for 2 new plants
  • 1st Customer – Eleanor Bramer: Go to F2 (you will need Winterbore)
  • 2nd Customer – Bethany Coleman: give her Jacob’s Worth
  • 3rd Customer – Arthur Cook: Give him Forest Camphry
  • 4th Customer – Ennis Aleford: leave St John’s Poppy by Sadgill church (C28) by Friday, or else
  • 5th Customer – Verona Green: Give her Gilded Dendra
  • 6th Customer – Anne Wood: give her Royal Gentia

Day 7 Thrusday

  • Starting Clue: Go to Bowfell (D14), then go five miles south to I14 for a new plant
  • 1st Customer – Anne Wood: Give her Solomon’s Sceptre
  • Mailman – David Chafer: the letter says Kentmere Eye
  • 2nd Customer – Verona Green: give her Maiden’s Sorrow
  • Find the plant on your shelves and get the looking glass working > Open the map > looking glass over it > Find Elderphineum at Q30 > receive a plant from Tomb of the Hunter (B14) > and Great Oak (N9)
  • 3rd Customer – Reuben Ward: Give him Eyebright
  • 4th Customer – Forest Vair: Give him Grey Sandfire

Day 8 Friday – Strange Horticulture Walkthrough

  • Starting Clue: Lowick to Illgill Head, Foxfield to Crinkle Crags > I13 for two new plants
  • 1st Customer – Ennis Aleford: you will join his cult
  • 2nd Customer – Unknown: give her Elderphinium
  • 3rd Customer – Grace Enwright: find Goldenlight, but you don’t know what Long Meg is yet
  • 4th Customer – Anne Wood: Give her Long Verecund
  • 5th Customer – Amos Duncan: Look at the top left section of your desk to find the same flower symbols > piece together > press the symbols on the desk until they math > secret compartment > letter to use a Bryer’s Disc > Place the disc on Kentmore > E27, another plant > Robert Barrow’s Herbology Shop in Kendal, trade Copper Caledonian for new plants
  • 6th Customer – Simone Green: a letter for Baylock’s Elixer

Day 9 Saturday

  • Starting Clue: Find Tebay on the map, then go north, east, south, south, west, south, south = F31 and x2 new plants
  • 1st Customer – Simone Green: Give her Feverkiss
  • Mailman – David Chafer: Use the Bryer’s Disc on the map > Beckfoot at G10, and the candle points to D12 for a new plant
  • 2nd Customer – Forest Vair: give him Dranthium
  • 3rd Customer – Reuben Ward: Give him Wild Cole
  • 4ath Customer – Emily Constigan: Give her Common Trouse (Red Pike)
  • 4bth Customer – Amy Sullivan: Give her Bishop’s Parasol
  • 4cth Customer – Michael Bennet: Give him Sunset Mountcap
  • 5th Customer – Verona Green: dead ground north east of Tebay you should check out (B32)

Day 10 Sunday

  • Starting Clue: use the looking glass > Two miles north of Foxfield (K11) for a new plant
  • Mailman – David Chafer: Calder Abbey > Give them Fox Button > find out Long Meg is the tall stone in the circle north of Undermere > Go south three miles and east two to find Goldenlight (D27)
  • 1st Customer – Verona Green: Give her Mountain Astory
  • 2nd Customer – Thomas Green: now you can brew elixers
  • 3rd Customer – Bethany Coleman: Match the note she gives you on the map to find the spot in Grizedale forest (I19) > offer Cauldery or Embersoul to the goddess
  • 4th Customer – Natalie Cooper: Give her Larkshine

Day 11 Monday

  • Starting Clue: place the card over Bowfell and the Old Man mountains to reveal where a new plant can be found (E16)
  • 1st Customer – George Campbell: Give him Weeping Belle (Previously identified as Goldenlight)
  • 2nd Customer – Ennis Aleford: give the plant to the Draer if he comes back
  • 3rd Customer – Amos Duncan: use Palliance, Eyebright, and Prittle in the new lab to make Baylock’s Elixer
  • 4ath Customer – Alice Boyd: Give her Solomon’s Sceptre
  • 4bth Customer – Edmund Cochran: Give him Jacob’s Worth
  • 4cth Customer – Mary Holmes: Give her Grey Sandfire.
  • 5th Customer – Simone Green: check out Lord Fremont’s archives. You can find Muncaster Castle at I8
  • 6th Customer – John Hall: Give him Norwood (Use the special looking glass over the plants while they’re on the shelves)

Day 12 Tuesday – Strange Horticulture Walkthrough & Guide 100%

  • Starting Clue: Look through your book to find which plant is also called Truthsayer, and the number of petals a lucky Caballia flower has. Look at L7 on your map for two new plants
  • 1st Customer – Verona Green: It may help the fight against the Servant
  • Mailman – David Chafer: Use the Bryer’s Disc to solve this puzzle (K8)
  • 2nd Customer – Forest Vair: Choose between Embersoul (let him) and Lesser Merrydock (stop him)
  • 3rd Customer – Milton Forbes: Arnside (P26) for new elixirs to brew

Day 13 Wednesday

  • Starting Clue: Go to L29 > use the Bryer’s Disc to follow the Raven up to H29 > Bryer’s Disc to that spot > follow the spider to H25 for two new plants
  • 1st Customer – Grayce Enwirght: Give her Daisy Dock
  • Mailman – David Chafer: use the special looking glass > Go north of Bowfell to the source of the river Esk (C14)
  • 2nd Customer – Thora Dunn: check out the spot (G20)
  • 3rd Customer – Simone Green: Give her Palliance, also called Sweetbreath
  • 4th Customer – Lorena Chapman: Give her Trimblehuff

Day 14 Thursday

  • Starting Clue: the tree and symbol on the card match the coin you got awhile back. Go eight miles east of Gosforth to E11 for two new plants
  • 1st Customer – Thora Dunn: identify the mushroom she gave you yesterday as Farmer’s Worry > Royal Gentia should cure the husband
  • 2nd Customer – Forest Vair: Brew him St Quentin’s Elixir (Daisy Dock, Candlewood, and Sheepsnap)
  • Mailman – David Chafer: place it on Sadgill and look at the cup pointing to G28
  • 3rd Customer – Reuben Ward: He gives you a note
  • 4ath Customer – Thaddeus Cornwall: Give him Weeping Belle
  • 4bth Customer – Samuel Thomas: Give him Palliance
  • 5th Customer – Ennis Aleford: Just a warning

Day 15 Friday

  • Starting Clue: West of White Scar, by the river. Go to P29 for a new plant
  • Mailman – David Chafer: find White Scar Cave on the map > Use Farmer’s Worry to get inside and find two new plants
  • 1st Customer – Faye Swift: Give her Sour Bandy
  • 2nd Customer – Alden Gregory: brew Elixir of the Damned (Caballia, Dranthium, and Henchuck)
  • 3rd Customer – Althea O’Shea: Give her Liverstone
  • 4th Customer – Unknown: Give her Widow’s Woe or Dead Man’s Fingers
  • 5th Customer – Hollis Gibb: Give her Pixie-Lamps, or Glowhorn

Day 16 Saturday – Strange Horticulture Walkthrough & Guide 100%

  • Starting Clue: Sizergh, across the river, through the mountain pass, and at the edge of the wood bring you to K31 for a new plant
  • 1st Customer – Verona Green: Use the riddle from the disc to figure out the plants > The Corpse’s Friend is Devil’s Nightcap , the Ankle Grabber is Swiftsnare, the fear bringer is Widow’s Woe, Long Verecund will lift a curse, and a petal to reverse black blood is Elderphinium > the ritual site can be found at O9
