How to Remove Flaws in The Outer Worlds

Flaws are a unique gameplay mechanic in The Outer Worlds that apply negative attributes to your character in return for one Perk point. In most cases, Flaws are offered to players after they have encountered a certain type of enemy too many times or frequently been dealt damage by an enemy.

So now that we have covered the general concept of perks, you’re probably wondering how do you remove them from your character?

Well, unfortunately I have some bad news, as once a Flaw has been accepted, it is now permanently applied to your character and can not be removed.

The only way to remove a Flaw from your character is by completely restarting the game. Should this be the case for you, we highly recommend that you do not restart your playthrough, as Flaws can be countered by using that additional point you earned to select a perk that can help replace what the Flaw negatively impacts on your character.
