FIX Borderless Window, Map Overlay & Graphics Hardware
This guide will show you unable to initialize graphics hardware fix, Borderless window fix and map overlay fix in the game.
Unable to Initialize Graphics Hardware
For this there is this easy sollution:
1. go to:
- my document>Mygames>The Saboteur™> Save game > Config.ini
Help I can’t see my config file
If you can not see your config file in the file explorer, You probably have the “Show hidden folders” setting disabled. Although I think it should not impact whether or not this .ini file is shown.
- At the file explorer on top click on the “view” tab
- Then check the box Hidden items (I did not have to do it as I already sawn the file)
Help I can’t open my config file
Simple solution for this is to:
- Right click the file
- And find the “Open with”
- Chose Notepad (or whatever text editor you woud like to use but simple Notepad will do)
2. Find the RefreshRate and change the value to 60
3. Find VSync andchange the value to 0
4. THIS STEP IS THE MOST IMPORTANT OUT OF THEM ALL:
- Write Windowed 1 under the VSync
- 3.1 OPTIONAL step but recommended: find and PostProcessing change the value to 0
SAVE THE FILE AND CLOSE IT
The game can be now launched but only in windowed mod this issue is fixed in next section
Borderless Window
1. Go to this github repository
2. Download the zip file called “TheSaboteur.FusionFix”
3. extract the archive to the game directory (where Saboteur.exe is located)
Help how can I find the directory of my game?
1. Find Your game in the steam library
2. Righ click on it
3. Find Manage tab
4. In the Manage tab click on Browse local files
This actions should take you right to Your game file direcoty
The game can be now launch in Borderless window
Fixing Map Issue Overlay (Optional)
HIGHLY RECOMMENDING TO CREATE BACKUP FILE OF THE Saboteur.exe
- Go to link
- it contain a patch for map issue overlay.
- Since this is a Steam version download the TheSaboteurGogPatch.FALLBACK.exe as it skip version check during patching becouse the steam version is bit differnet from the GOG and Origin.
- Run the patcher and You should be set.
