Red Dead Redemption 2 – Sheep Location

Sheep Locations

Sheeps can be found in the area surrounding Cattail Pond, northeast of Wallace Station.

The Sheep is a large sized animal in Red Dead Redemption 2. You’ll most likely find them in mountains and higher areas. You’ll need a Perfect Sheep Pelt for part of the Legendary Elk Half Chaps, the Trapper’s Cloak, the Huntsman Vest, and the Sheepskin Vest at the Trapper.

“The Desert Bighorn Sheep inhabits the varied terrain of New Austin. It has a herbivores diet of desert holly, cacti, and grasses. Using Bows with arrows, or a rifle, is the easiest way to take down a sheep of this size. They also provide mutton to eat, and hides for crafting with.”

How Kill the Sheep?

To get a perfect Pelt you’ll have to find a Perfect Sheep and use the right weapons to kill it.

Sheeps are large sized animals. There are usually a couple of them together when spotted. They scare easily. Keep your distance, using binoculars to spot, identify, and track a prestine target. When you get a clear line of sight, use a rifle with any type of ammo, except explosive, or a Bow with Poison Arrows to get a clean kill.

Upon killing a pristine Sheep perfectly, you’ll earn a perfect Sheep Pelt and Gristly Mutton.
