PART 1: THE THREE TRIALS

Go to the Scumm Bar
Talk to important looking pirates
Wait for cook to leave screen – sneak into kitchen
Pick up pot
Pick up meat
Pick up red herring – walk to the edge of the pier and flip the board x4
Use meat & herring with pot – pick up both from the pot before leaving
Exit ScummBar
Go to the lookout and exit to the map

Head to the fork on the island map
Walk into forest
Find yellow flowers and pick them up
Exit the forest
Go to the area marked bridge on the map
Give red-herring to troll

Go to clearing/circus
Agree to do circus stunt
Give pot
Get 478 pieces o’eight

Got to town
Past the archway after scummbar
Talk to citizen of melee (parrot-man)
Buy a map
Talk to pirates of low moral fibre
Buy PTA for -2 pieces o’eight
Enter the voodoo store [store with voodoo insignia]
Pick up rubber chicken
Exit store

Enter path under clock tower
Enter the store
Pick up shovel
Pick up sword
Buy shove and sword from the strorekeeper
Exit store

Go to the governor’s mansion
Open inventory
Use yellow flower with meat
Give poisoned-meat to poodles
Enter mansion
Enter the first door near the painting
Exit mansion after cutscene

Go to the prison
Talk to prisoner
Exit prison
Enter the store
Talk to storekeeper
Buy mints for 2 pieces o’eight
Return to prison
Give mints to prisoner
Give gopher-repellent to prisoner
Check inventory
Open cake

Go to the mansion
Re-enter the hole in wall
Exit through door
Pick up idol

Head towards the store
Request to meet the swordmaster
Follow the storekeeper (don’t lose him, you might have to restart)
Talk to swordmaster
Leave swordmaster’s house

Go to house at the far east of the map
Knock the door
Say “i have what it takes” x3
Pay 30 pieces o’eight
Exit to the map

Fight all roaming pirates on map and learn all insults
Fight the swordmaster after learning all insults
Full insults list here

Exit to the map

Re-enter fork to the forest
Look at map in inventory
Follow the map you bought for directions [right, left, & back= go up]
Exit the forest

Head towards scummbar
Pick up all mugs
Talk to chef
Enter kitchen
Fill one mug with grog from barrel
Exit scummbar and head towards prison
On the way, keep refilling grog to new mug before mugs go flat
Use grog on prison lock

Leave town and exit to map
Go to island at northeast of the map
Use rubber-chicken on cable
Enter the house/motel
Talk about the governor and being the captain of a ship
Accept challenge and open the grate
Poke the beast
Exit the house
Use rubber-chicken on cable
Go to the SwordMaster’s house – talk about the governor
Exit to the map

Go to the shipyard [lights]
Talk to Stan about getting a ship ‘on credit’
Tell Stan you’d like to ‘think about it’ and leave

Head towards the store
Talk to the Storekeeper about credit
Tell him you have a job
[record a video of the storekeep opening the safe with your phone]
Ask about looking for the SwordMaster
Attempt to open the safe
[study your recorded video]
[push=clockwise , pull=counter-clockwise]
repeat safe combination

Return to the shipyard
Tell Stan you ‘don’t have much to spend’
Tell him ‘you have credit from the storekeeper‘
Ask Stan about ‘how much it’s worth’ [10000]
Talk about extras, and ‘live without it’ for everything till he gets repetitive x1
Enough about extras
Ask Stan about ‘how much it’s worth’ [7300]
Tell Stan ‘you’re not interested’
Re-bargain about extras, and ‘live without it’ for everything till he gets repetitive x2
Ask Stan ‘how much it’s worth’ [6300]
Make an offer with Stan for ‘5000 pieces o’eight’
Look at the Grog-machine; note Root Beer
leave to the map and head towards the town/village

PART 2: THE JOURNEY

In the captain’s cabin, open a drawer at the table
Look at drawer
Pick up feather-pen
Pick up ink
Leave the captain’s cabin and go to the ship deck

Climb the rope-ladder beside the cannon
Pick up jolly roger
Go to ship deck
Enter the hatch behind Meathook

Enter the lower-hatch to the base of the ship
Open the kegs
Pick up the giant piece of rope
Open chest at lower right corner
Look at the contents of the chest
Exit the lower-hatch

Enter the door behind the hatch (kitchen)
Open the cupboard
Pick up cereal
Open the cereal in the inventory
- Open the prize in the inventory

Return to the captain’s cabin
Use key on the cabinet on the right
Pick up chest
Open chest
Look at chest

head back to the kitchen
look at piece-of-paper [in inventory]
add the following into the cooking pot
–cinnamon sticks
–breath mints
–jolly roger
–ink
–fine wine
–rubber chicken
–gun powder
–cereal

Use map with red-hot-fire under pot
Exit kitchen
Go to the lower hatch
Pick up more gunpowder

Go to the main deck
Use giant piece of rope with cannon
Use gunpowder with cannon nozzle

(Save game)

Use flaming-mass with fuse [cannon]
Use pot

(Restart if you missed wearing the pot in time)

PART 3: MONKEY ISLAND

Read note and pick up a banana
Head northwest, and go to an area with a beach
Pick up the note
Head back into the jungle
Go to the fort near the upper-rim of a volcano
Push/pull cannon
Pick up rope
Pick up spyglass
Pick up cannon ball
Pick up gunpowder
Exit to path

(Save Game)

Go to the center of the island
Look for and go to ‘river bed / pond‘
Pick up note
Ask ToothRoth about something he lost
Leave the area

Go to river fork
Pick up note below rock
Head to path above the hill

(Save Game)

Do not move the lever!!

Optional:
head above some more, to the top of the hill
'push' rock x1
-this will affect the ending

or; 
skip this box and proceed with the next move..


pull lever x1
head back above to push the rock
(pick up rocks / pebbles to replace rock)

head back down
pull lever x1 
return above and 'push' rock
-- keep pulling the lever once and repeating a rock push to see what happens every time with different angles
-- make sure to hit the banana tree at the beach

head back down to the river fork
use gunpowder with dam
use cannonball with flint (in front of the gunpowder)

you'll end up at a familiar spot
pick up rope
exit area and head towards the south beach with the banana tree
pick up bananas
re-enter jungle
head towards the crack
use both ropes to reach down to the bottom of the valley
pick up oars
return to south beach
use oars on the boat
[at other times, simply click on the boat to row it]

row towards the north-east side
park your boat at the east beach
pick up note in bottle
use your boat again and head north
dock at the north beach
pick up note
enter jungle [don't bother crossing the other side of the island from here, trust me]
go towards the village
head to the left most of the screen with the main hut
pick up bananas in the fruit bowl
attempt to exit
talk to cannibals and mention a three-headed monkey
pick up skull
pick up memo
pick up loose board
exit the jungle

row your boat to the south beach
head towards jungle
find the monkey at the southern island
feed the monkey all of your bananas
[monkey eat, monkey follow]

head towards the clearing at the eastern part of the island (Monkey Head)
walk towards the big 'monkey head', pass the 'private property' sign.
notice a totem pole
pull the totem pole's nose pointing towards the monkey-head
[monkey see, monkey do]

enter the monkey head area
pick up wimpy-little idol
exit to the jungle
head towards the clearing
return to your row-boat
row towards the northern part of the island

enter the village
get caught by the cannibals again
tell them you're a mighty pirate
open inventory and give the wimpy-little idol to cannibals
enter the main hut and pick up the banana-picker
meet Herman Toothrot and return the banana-picker to him
exit the village

take your row-boat to the east beach
enter the clearing with the big monkey head
use monkey head key in gigantic monkey ear
enter gigantic monkey head [exploring is optional]
revisit the cannibals and tell them about your mission
ask about where LeChuck is hiding
pass the green leaflet to cannibals
head towards the east beach
return to the catacombs underneath the giant monkey head

enter the catacombs
use the head of the navigator to determine which direction to go
good luck


before entering the ship, talk to navigator head
keep begging for the necklace!!
use the necklace with Guybrush and,
enter the ship [once you have a blue aura around you!]

Once on the ship, enter the hatch below [to the right of the ghost band]
walk pass the passage on the right
pick up chicken ghost feathers
return to the previous room
use the feathers on the sleeping ghost crew x2 (while his right arm's extended)
pick up jug o'grog
exit the hatch
go towards the left side of the ship
open the door and enter LeChuck's cabin
use the compass with key
return to the storage with the ghost chickens/pigs
use key with hatch
enter the lower hatch
use jug o'grog with dish
pick up cooking grease
return to the upper deck
use grease on squeaky door
pick up ghost tools
return to the storage with the ghost chickens/pigs
use ghost tools on glowing crate
look within the opened glowing crate
obtain the root
exit the ship/cave/catacombs
talk to cannibals and exit the village
